One of the watches awarded to participants of Soviet Antarctic expeditions. This example was produced by the Chistopol Watch Factory and is powered by a gold-plated precision caliber 2809 movement. On this particular dial, the “Antarktida” inscription and the markings of the Soviet Antarctic stations on the continent have faded away.
