Description

Volna with unusual, possibly unique case with a snap-on caseback, unique dial and crown. In 1957, the Chistopol Watch Factory began production of the high-precision K-28 watch under the Vostok brand. This model featured a small seconds hand and a non-shock-protected balance, and was powered by caliber 2802. The movement was based on the Zenith 135 caliber, which had a distinctive lateral minute-pinion construction not found in any other movement. Прецизионные часы с центральной секундной стрелкой выпускались на калибре 2809. Механизмы, а точнее балансы, не прошедшие стандарты по точности ставились в часы Волна и маркировались 2809А.
