Chistopol Watch Factory
Yubileynyye
Description
The Yubileinye watch was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in 1918. This commemorative model was produced in an extremely limited batch and came in two case variations: gold-plated and chrome-plated. In 1957, the Chistopol Watch Factory began production of the high-precision K-28 watch under the Vostok brand. This model featured a small seconds hand and a non-shock-protected balance, and was powered by caliber 2802. The movement was based on the Zenith 135 caliber, which had a distinctive lateral minute-pinion construction not found in any other movement.
